ECOLE MUNICIPALE DE MUSIQUE
The Saint-Cyprien Municipal Music School was founded in October 1989.
It is an EENC establishment, which operates according to the school calendar.
The youngest members of the public are welcomed from the age of 5 in early-learning classes, where children are introduced to the world of music, primarily through oral expression and movement.
As soon as they reach first grade, children can join the first cycle of musical training (formerly known as solfège), where they learn to read and sing, work on their ear and learn about the history of music.
The first 4-year cycle is followed by a second, also lasting 4 years.
There are two courses reserved for adults (and older teenagers).
The instrumental syllabus may be preceded by a year of introductory lessons - depending on the instrument chosen - and is then divided into 2 cycles of 4 years, followed by a 3rd cycle leading to a final certificate.
