A wandering show of disco balls, glitter and celebration.
"The Disco Parade is, as its name suggests, a strolling tribute to disco music and the disco ball. Far from being outdated, Disco brings people together across generations and social categories. The aim of this parade is to bring us all together around a shared aesthetic and imagination, with the sole aim of enjoying a good time, a party, light and glitter... Imagine monumental structures that set disco balls in motion and light up your streets. Imagine a frenetic, luminous and deliciously old-fashioned party. With this new tour, the Compagnie des Mangeurs de Cercle lights up your streets, using oversized wheels to set our disco balls in rotation, turning your town centres into giant dance floors! In a swirl of smoke and beams of light, the faceted "Men" / masked dancers open the ball and invite spectators to join in the dance.
This Disco Parade is a fresco of light and acrobatics, a perpetual movement punctuated by fixed choreographic stations/scenes.
