FETE DU 15 AOUT
15th August
Saint-Cyprien is set to shine!
A dazzling festival in prospect!
After the traditional procession, followed by the Assumption Mass, a huge fireworks display will be launched from the port of Saint-Cyprien. Rendezvous at 10am, then 10.30pm!
Once again this year, Saint-Cyprien will be hosting a wonderful festival on 15 August.
The traditional procession of the Assumption of the Virgin will start from the Place de Marbre at 10am. It will make its way to the Jardins maritimes (the gardens of the former harbour master's office), where a mass celebrating the Assumption of the Virgin will be celebrated at 10.30am, followed at 11.45am by a wreath-laying ceremony in tribute to the sailors who died at sea.
The day will close with a superb fireworks display from the harbour at 10.30pm (unless otherwise ordered by the prefecture).
As a large number of people are expected in the port on this day, traffic will be restricted for much of the day.
Precise travel and parking instructions will be issued shortly.
